FOX CORRUGOL FM211
- FOX CORRUGOL FM211 is a single-component, water-based, solvent-free surface retarder used in the production of concrete with visible aggregate.
Product Details
Applications
In cast-in-place or precast concrete, in architectural applications where aggregates are desired to be visible on the surface (wash concrete, exposed aggregate concrete)
Provides a significant advantage for freshness in horizontal construction joints without the need for physical abrasion (sandblasting, notching, chipping, etc.).
Used to achieve applications such as walkways and terrazzos with permanently visible aggregate surfaces. Advantages
Delays the normal hydration of cement on the concrete surface (high cement content and temperature reduce the delay). Concrete continues to gain strength after the delay ends.
The depth of the delayed layer depends on the amount of product applied, the time until the retarder is removed from the surface, the amount of water and cement in the mixture, and the ambient temperature.
Reduces roughening labor costs.
Can be diluted according to the purpose of application.
Easy to apply.
Solvent-free.
For Hardened Concrete;
Compared to traditional water-reducing admixtures, it offers:
Higher early strength,
High ultimate compressive strength,
Higher modulus of elasticity,
Improved adhesion to reinforcement,
Low permeability,
High durability,
Low shrinkage and creep properties.
