FOX ADMENT FM561
- FOX ADMENT FM561 is a naphthalene sulfonate-based concrete admixture with setting retarder properties. It enhances the final strength of concrete by imparting rheoplastic properties and acts as a high-level water reducer/superplasticizer.
- Public Works Item No: 04.613/1-A3
- It meets the requirements of TS EN 934-2 / Table 11.1 and 11.2: Setting Retarder High-Level Water Reducer/Superplasticizer Concrete Admixture.
- It conforms to the ASTM C 494 Type G: Setting Retarder High-Level Water Reducer Superplasticizer Concrete Admixture standard.

Applications
In ready-mixed concrete production with and without pumps,
In locations where concrete transportation takes longer than 1 hour,
In concrete pours where concrete is pumped to locations more than 200 meters away or in high-altitude pours,
In concrete pours where ambient temperature exceeds +40°C and humidity is low,
In critical pours where hydration heat control is desired in concrete (such as mass concrete pouring),
Used in the production of rheoplastic concrete that can be easily placed in heavily reinforced concrete elements.
Advantages
Reduces the amount of water by at least 12% by weight compared to additive-free concrete.
Provides lower water/cement ratio at the same workability or high workability and easy pumpability at the same water/cement ratio compared to additive-free concrete.
Minimizes the negative effects of temperature on concrete workability.
Ensures that the concrete retains its rheoplastic properties for a long time. Compared to plain concrete, it increases ultimate strength.
It provides improvements in formwork and screed surfaces compared to plain concrete.
It improves other mechanical properties of concrete such as impermeability, durability, shrinkage and creep. FOX ADMENT FM561 is chloride-free.
