Product Details

Applications
Due to its hydraulic properties, it has been used in cisterns, wells, aqueducts, and bathhouses from the Byzantine, Roman, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods. Therefore, it can be used in historical buildings and places where a historical building effect is desired.
Used in interior and exterior plastering,
In the repair of existing plasters,
In the repair of natural stone and brick wall joints,
In surface repairs.
Advantages
Thanks to the special inorganic mineral fibers homogeneously distributed in the mixture, a shrinkage-free mortar is obtained. In this way, it works in the same mechanism as traditional mortars, ensuring a repair that provides continuity on the applied surface.
Due to continuously controlled production, the use of ready-made mortar ensures that a different product quality is obtained in each project. In mortars prepared on site, it is extremely difficult to ensure mixture homogeneity.
FOX HISTOCRETE HORASAN plaster, which does not contain water-soluble salts, is one of the best products that can be recommended for the restoration of historical masonry structures. Bricks, tiles, and similar materials are made from a mixture of clay (kaolin, illite, etc.), quartz, and feldspar minerals. When this mixture is heated to 600–900°C, the clays acquire different degrees of pozzolanism depending on the temperature and their mineralogical structure (He and others). At these temperatures, the structures of the clay minerals are broken down, and amorphous alumina silicates are formed. Due to this structure, calcined clays have pozzolanic properties. They are asbestos-free and environmentally friendly.
